Bodog Affiliate Program

The Bodog affiliate program has long been one that has been held in the highest regard by the poker webmaster community. One of the key reasons behind this is that Bodog will not accept any webmaster that applies to the program. You will be designated a manager who will review your site and ultimately decide if you can promote Bodog. The criteria for attaining acceptance usually revolves around having an established site that will provide value to players and one that will send players to the team over at Bodog. The manager that has been assigned to you will help you improve any areas of your website should you need it, and will only be too happy to help you optimize your pages.

Helpful Note: Before signing up as a Bodog affiliate be sure to visit the Bodog Website and set up a players account. This will save you a step in the sometimes tedious Bodog Affiliate approval process.

The commission structure at Bodog is fairly standard over the two options available. If you choose the Revenue Share (MGR) option you will start on 25%. This means you will receive 25% of the profit that Bodog receives from your player signing up to play with them.

The MGR rates go up as your players earn more. They are calculated each month and are as follows:

$1 - $9999 = 25%
$10,000 - $49,999 = 30%
$50,000+ = 40%

With this system in place, it means that if you sign up more players and they generate more revenue in a month, you will be awarded be going into the next pay bracket. For example, if your players generate $7500 in January you will receive 25% for that month. However, if in February you sign up more players and your combined player revenue sky rockets to $16,000 you will receive 30% of that for the month.

The other option available for affiliates is the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) model. As most experienced affiliates already know, Bodog have very relaxed restrictions on the requirements for reciving this CPA. All your players have to do is deposit the minimum $20 and you will be instantly credited $100 into your affiliates account. This is a one off payment and you will receive no further payment from Bodog for this player as they are covering the risk by paying you upfront.

There is one contingency plan in place however that stops affiliates taking advantage of the system and providing low value players. If it is evident that a large portion of your players are simply making a deposit and leaving without playing very much Bodog have the right to close your account for serious offenders. This is taken very seriously as affiliates should be treating the company with respect and as a partner. If for some reason your players aren’t providing much value to the room of no fault of yours, your affiliate manager will work with you to increase the player value.

Overall, Bodog is a well respected company and the affiliate program is amongst the best in the industry. You can earn great commissions for simply sending players to the poker room, casino or sports book. We recommend that you get in touch with the team over at Bodog to find out more on how to get started.
